St Patrick’s Day Parade in Loughrea to go ahead on 17 March

Due to public demand and new help on board, the St. Patricks Day Parade in Loughrea is going ahead on Thursday, 17th March 2022 at 1pm.

This years theme is “Keep Ireland Green” “Glan agus Glas”.

The parade will start at Barrack Street car park, and end at Station Road car park.

After a two year break necessitated by Covid, the organising committee is seeking your support and hope this year to have representation from as many community groups and businesses in Loughrea as possible, to help make this 2022 parade a great community event. To be part of this years parade, pop into the following businesses and fill out an entry form:

The organising committee are calling on all business in Loughrea to start decorating their shop front for St. Patricks Day:

Let’s make this exciting for everyone visiting our town to enjoy the parade. Grab your bunting, banners, balloons, cloths, accessories and fill them shop fronts with all things “green”.
