St Brigid’s College student Loughrea in BT Young Scientist & Technology Final

Joshua McPhilbin from St Brigid’s College Loughrea qualified for the virtual BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition (BTYSTE), taking place 12 – 14 January 2022. Joshua’s individual Technology project titled ‘How does Technology effect Humans’ concentration?’ came about as a result based on his own experience of online learning last year and the effect working from home had on his relatives.

Joshua, while talking about his project says ‘I am getting students to take a 40-minute Maths quiz, go on computer games, then take another 40-minute Maths quiz.’
