Salt Bins Locations in Loughrea Municipal District Ahead of Cold Snap

As tough weather conditions approach, residents of Loughrea and surrounding areas are urged to be aware of the salt bins available throughout the Loughrea Municipal District. Announcing on his Facebook page, Cllr. Shane Curley said these bins have been placed in key locations to help ensure the safety of the community during the upcoming cold snap.

The following salt bin locations are available for public use:

Loughrea – Station Road Car Park
Portumna – Car Park to the rear of the Library/Council Offices
Peterswell – Adjacent to the Community Centre
Kinvara – Adjacent to Slipway
Killimor – Old National School
Tynagh – Across from the Hurling Pitch
Woodford – Across from Church/Graveyard

Residents are encouraged to make use of these salt bins to help keep the areas safe during icy conditions. The bins are there for the benefit of the community, and all are asked to use them responsibly.
