Loughrea’s St Patrick’s Day Parade to celebrate its Legends

Bringing Loughrea’s streets to life on Lá le Pádraig, Friday, 17 March, this years St. Patrick’s Day parade theme is legends. The Parade committee said that ‘this theme which is largely open to individual interpretation will enable all participants to really make an effort this year and get creative.’

Following on from a hugely successful return in 2022 where a Paddy’s Day record was set, welcoming over 60 participating groups to Main Street, Loughrea, the Parade committee stated : ‘This is the highest ever entrant number we have seen in our town. This year, 2023, we are adamant about continuing our trend of breaking records and making 2023 Loughrea’s biggest Parade to date… and we need YOU…’ Calling all schools, clubs, societies, business, volunteers, groups and anyone interested in participating in the event to please email info@charliesbarloughrea.net – sign-up via https://tinyurl.com/loughreaparade23

Calling all businesses in Loughrea, it’s time to get decorating. The St. Patrick’s Day parade committee are looking for the Best Window Display of 2023.
