Posting on his Instagram page, Alex said: ‘Great return to X30 after not racing in this category since last year, what an experience!

We spent the practice sessions getting up to speed, adapting back to the tyres and handling of the X30 again after driving OKJ all year. We found good pace but in qualifying unfortunately our lap was impeded by other drivers, so we qualified P7 in group and 27th overall.

After some tough heats we ended up P24 overall and fought from P12 to P7 in the Prefinal.

We started the final from 14th. After a great start we got into the top 10 and raced our way through to finish in P6! I am very happy with the result and comeback after qualifying!’

Alex’s karting highlights include:
2019 1st IAME International Final – Minime / Cadet
2018 1st Irish Championship – IAME Cadet
