Loughrea Library Closure Due to Weather

Loughrea Library will be closed today, Friday, 10th January, due to adverse weather conditions. Galway was under a Status Orange Low Temperature/Ice warning overnight, as announced by Met Éireann. The warning was in effect until 8am this morning, with a yellow status warning remaining in place until 12 noon.

Additionally, a fresh layer of snow has covered Loughrea, settling after last night’s frost, creating hazardous conditions.

Loughrea Library apologise for any inconvenience caused and encourage everyone to take extra care during these challenging weather conditions.
