Out of sadness comes joy… In passing the captaincy of Loughrea Golf Club to their 2022 Captain, the club say farewell to 2021 Captain and congratulate and thank Padraic Hedderman on a fantastic job in what was another tough year for any captain.
As we look to the future we welcome and congratulate our 2022 Captain Paddy McMahon. A man whose golfing services to the club need no introduction and likewise his support to his captains over the preceding 5 years. We would like to wish Paddy and his family all the very best for the year ahead. We know everyone in the club will support him where they can.
Loughrea Golf Course is situated on the R350 (signposted New Inn) approx. 1.5 miles from Loughrea Town. From Dublin or Galway take the M6 and exit at junction 16 then take Loughrea link road N65 off the roundabout. At next roundabout (Moanmore Roundabout) take 1st exit (R350). From Shannon start out on N19 then join M18 and exit at Gort then take N66 signposted Loughrea. Take the R350.
