Funshack Playcentre to Host Farewell Event

Funshack Playcentre has announced that it will permanently close its doors on Sunday, 22nd September 2024, following 15 years of serving the local community. Due to rising operational costs, the beloved playcentre has found it unsustainable to continue operations despite extensive efforts to remain open.

To commemorate its legacy and celebrate the countless memories created over the years, Funshack is inviting everyone to a special farewell event, ‘The Funshack’s Last Hurrah.’ This final celebration will take place on Sunday, 22nd September 2024, from 3pm to 5pm. The event promises a fun-filled afternoon with treats and a special guest appearance, offering a perfect way for families to say goodbye. Entry will be at the usual price.

The Funshack team, led by Marline, has been deeply touched by the ongoing support from the community. Over the past year, they explored every possible option to keep the playcentre open, but closure became inevitable. In a heartfelt statement shared on social media, the owners and staff expressed their gratitude to the loyal customers and families who have been a part of Funshack’s journey.
