First Naomh Breandain CU and Sustainable Energy West SEAI Home Energy Grants and Solar PV Information Event

Naomh Breandain CU and Sustainable Energy West in conjunction with SEAI ran the first of a series of workshops in the Temperance Hall on Saturday, 11 February. David opened the meeting by giving an update of the many projects carried out by the small voluntary committee of SEW. This was followed by Dr Orla Nic Suibhne SEAI and SEW mentor detailing the energy Grant’s available to homeowners. Gearoid Whelan JFW Renewables spoke about the Solar PV for homeowners.
A large group attended and the feedback was very positive. Another workshop will take place on March 11th between 10 am and 12 noon in the Temperance Hall, Barrack Street, Loughrea. House 2 Home One Stop Shop services and a number of Case Studies of completed retrofits will be also discussed.
These workshops are funded by Naomh Breandan CU. All are welcome to attend.
