Employers invited to WorkAbility Programme Event
The Galway Rural Development Company’s WorkAbility Programme is hosting an employer-focused event on Wednesday, 4th December, from 7 PM at Comworks, Loughrea. The event is designed to inform local employers about the benefits of employing people with disabilities and raise awareness about their specific needs (if any) in the workplace.
The session will feature a speaker from Intreo, who will provide valuable information on the various grants and subsidies available to employers who engage in the WorkAbility initiative. There will also be a guest speaker from Disability Federation of Ireland.
Additionally, the event will seek employers who are willing to offer shadowing and work experience placements, and part-time or full-time opportunities to participants of the WorkAbility Programme.
This event is open to all business owners in East Galway.
