One year since the passing of Liz Leahy, owner of Mulberry Childcare, Bride Street, Loughrea, Li’s family and friends have get up a fundraising page in her memory. All donations collected are going to Galway Hospice and Cancer Care West. Posting on the iDonate page:

On October 23rd 2020 we lost our beloved Liz. It’s impossible to explain the heartbreak we have felt over the last year and like so many people we miss Liz everyday. This Christmas we would like to focus on the love and happiness Liz brought to so many people, especially children. We hope to continue this through Little Lapland for Liz. We know she would love that 🙂

Little Lapland for Liz is a Christmas event at Mulberry Childcare which aims to put a smile on children’s faces at the most precious time of year. This event is now sold out but you can show your support by donating using this page. The event aims to raise much needed funds for Cancer Care West and the Galway Hospice who provided such excellent care and support to Liz and our family.

All of the money from ticket sales and donations will go directly to these charities to ensure their essential support and care can continue for families in Galway.

Thanks to all at Mulberry Childcare, our family and friends for their help and support and local businesses whose generosity has made this celebration possible 🙂 And thank you for supporting this event by donating so generously.
