Darkness Into Light returns with Loughrea event

Hundreds of people are set to take to the streets of Loughrea for the Darkness Into Light 2022 walk on Saturday, 7 May. After a two years gap, during the Covid pandemic, there is a need more than ever for people to know their is hope. People will gather in Loughrea at sunrise on the morning of Saturday May 7th and walk from darkness into light, all in the name of supporting the Pieta House services.

Posting on their Facebook page, Darkness into Light Loughrea said, ‘We are delighted to share our new route with you for our walk in Loughrea. We look forward to taking in Dunkellin Street and Main Street this year and are grateful to all on the route for their support and enthusiasm.’

‘Join Pieta and Electric Ireland at sunrise on Sat 7th May for Darkness Into Light and give the gift of hope to those impacted by suicide and self-harm.’
