Today, Lignum Restaurant, located just a few km outside the town of Loughrea, has been awarded a coveted Michelin Star, marking a monumental achievement in its culinary fine dining journey. This recognition comes as no surprise to many who have long predicted big things for the restaurant since its opening, and today, that vision has come to life.

The Michelin Guide Ceremony for Great Britain & Ireland 2025, held in Glasgow, on Monday, 10th February, has officially recognised Lignum for its exceptional culinary excellence.

The community in Loughrea are incredibly proud of Chef and Owner, Danny Africano, along with his talented team. It’s a true testament to the hard work and commitment of everyone at Lignum.
