St Brigid’s College Loughrea F1 in Schools National Champions

On Monday, May 29th, St Brigid’s College, Loughrea F1 in Schools Team ‘Resiliath’ achieved remarkable success at the Clayton Hotel Galway. They emerged as the National Champions of the 2023 F1 in Schools competition, surpassing forty-eight teams hailing from various parts of the country. Alongside the prestigious National Champions Trophy, the St Brigid’s College, Loughrea team also earned recognition for their exceptional performance by winning the Fastest Car Award and Best Engineered Car Award at the National Finals.

F1 in Schools is a renowned global STEM competition designed for secondary level students, and as the National Champions, the team has earned the privilege to represent Ireland at the upcoming World Finals in Abu Dhabi next year.
