Surfacing Works to R380 Gort Road / McD’s Junction Loughrea Town

Galway County Council have announced the following Surfacing works to R380 Gort Road / McD’s Junction in Loughrea Town:

‘Lagan Asphalt Ltd., acting on behalf of Galway County Council, wishes to advise road users that Road Resurfacing Overlay Works will commence on Monday, the 23rd of January, for a duration of 1 day on the R380 Gort Rd/McD’s Junction Loughrea.

To facilitate these works, the section of the R380 in question will be temporarily closed to through traffic between 7:30am – 6 pm on Monday, the 23rd of January, 2023. Temporary diversions and a localised Stop/Go traffic management system will be in place. Local access will be maintained.

Consequently, users of this road/junction are requested to expect delays and should allow additional time for their journeys.

Galway County Council would like to take this opportunity to apologise for any inconvenience caused by these works.’
