Loughrea Parish Ukrainian Appeal for goods to house Ukrainian refugees at Mercy Convent Loughrea

Posting on their Facebook page, ukrainianappeal Loughrea Parish Ukrainian Appeal said,

As a community group we need your help as we welcome Ukrainian refugees effected by the conflict into our community. The Sister’s of Mercy have pledged the former Mercy Convent Loughrea as an accommodation centre.


To help set up this accommodation we urgently need the following:

In New/as New condition

  • Pillows
  • Duvets
  • Duvet Covers
  • Sheets
  • Towels
  • Mattress Protectors
  • Bedside Lamps
  • Throws & Cushions

These can be dropped off at St. Ita’s National School. on Thursday 7th April from 4-6pm.

Additionally, they are also looking for the following, In very good condition:

  • Cots
  • Travel Cots
  • Bunk beds
  • Single beds (Divian Style)
  • Double beds (Divian Style)

*Unfortunately we can’t accept bedframes due to the size constraints *
